So much work is needed in the public housing sector, but I’ve been making strides to tackle this issue head on.

A milestone victory came early in my political career when I secured $40 million to install proper air conditioning in Mildura’s public housing stocks, so people can take refuge at home from the often-times brutal Mallee sun. An integral part of my work is upscaling the electorate’s public housing stocks, in as many places as possible.

Over the last four years I’ve been able to secure funding for public housing projects in Mildura, Sea Lake, Woomelang and Hopetoun, and there’s plenty of other towns on the hitlist.
